Lotto

A lotto draw for a jackpot of €5500 took place at Doynes, Glenidan on Monday night, May 18th. The four numbers drawn were, 7, 21, 22 and 29. Jackpot not won. Derek Doyne was a sole Match 3 winner, and won €100. On Sunday night, May 31st, the next lotto draw, for a jackpot of €5600, will take place at the Maypole, Collinstown.

All Ireland SHC Tier 2 - McDonagh Cup

Lough Lene Gaels Hurling club was represented on the Westmeath panel of players that played a Round 5 match of the All Ireland SHC Tier 2 competition, Westmeath v Down, played at Ballycran in Down on Sunday May 24th. Westmeath 1.18 Down 1.28, was the match result. Westmeath has now concluded its participation in this competition, and its 2026 playing season.
