Numbers drawn for a jackpot of €5400 at a lotto draw that took place at the Abbey House, Fore on Sunday May 3rd were, 6, 9, 25 and 27. The jackpot was not won. Two Match 3 winners were Damien Peppard and Dan Reilly, who each won €50. On Sunday night, May 17th, a lotto draw for a jackpot of €5500 will take place at Doynes, Glenidan.

Joe McDonagh Cup Competition

Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club had player representation on the Westmeath panel selected for a Round 3 divisional match of the All Ireland Tier 2 SHC - McDonagh Cup, Westmeath v Laois. The result of that match was Westmeath 2.19 Laois 5.28, played at Mullingar’s TEG Cusack Park on Saturday May 9th.

Leinster Tier 2 U20 Hurling Championship

Na Piarsaigh was represented on the Westmeath U20 Hurling panel of players that was on duty for a semi final match of the Leinster Tier 2 U20 Hurling Championship, Westmeath v Down, played at TEG Cusack Park, Mullingar on early Saturday afternoon, May 9th. Westmeath 5.26 Down 1.04, was the match result.
