Slevins Coaches SHAC Final

Lough Lene Gaels………….2.09
Castletown Geoghegan.…3.15

Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club continues to await adding to its total of seven (7) Westmeath SHAC titles, following a defeat to Castletown Geoghegan in a replay of the 2025 Slevins Coaches SHAC final, played at Mullingar’s TEG Cusack Park on Public Holiday Monday afternoon October 27th.

Played throughout its entire duration in damp and overcast weather conditions, CTG made a superb start by scoring an opening minute goal. Lough Lene Gaels responded with a David Williams goal via a penalty. Lough Lene Gaels 1.05 Castletown Geoghegan 1.08, was the half time match scoreline. Scores in the third quarter of play put the eventual outcome of this fixture very much in favour of the defending champions. Lough Lene Gaels could not never be accused though of lacking in qualities of self belief and resilience, finishing this replay in a positive manner, David Williams scoring a second Lough Lene Gaels goal. Lotto

On Monday evening October 27th, a lotto draw for a jackpot of €4200 took place at the Decotek Park clubhouse. Numbers drawn were 4, 11, 23 and 26.

The jackpot was not won, and nor did any ticket entered for this lotto draw match any three of the drawn numbers, therefore necessitating a “lucky dip” draw for four (4) prizes of €25 each. Theresa Williams, Michael Carroll (London UK), Packie Clinton/Sarah Neville (Delvin) and Angela Lynch each subsequently won €25. The next lotto draw, for a jackpot of €4300, takes place at the Decotek Park clubhouse on Monday evening November 10th.
