Lotto

The lotto is on sale in local shops and is now available online by either downloading the Clubforce app and selecting Killucan or by pressing the shop now button on our Facebook page.

There was no winner of our lotto jackpot held on May 10. Natalie Geraghty, Blackie Byrne, May Leavy and Radie Lynch matched 3 numbers and won €50 each. The promoter's prize went to Nuala Quinn. Numbers drawn were 1, 16, 17 and 23.

This week's draw is at the clubhouse for a jackpot of €12,200. The funds raised from the lotto goes towards the running of the club.

All support is greatly appreciated!!!!

Membership

The GAA have launched Foireann.ie. It is a combination of their membership database and the Return to Play App we all had to use last year for Covid and which we will be using again once we get back. For all new players we will be having a registration morning within Covid guidelines but for all existing kids we want to get everyone registering online with Foireann. The log-in details are the same as you would have used last year. If you forget any of the details you can reset them by entering your e-mail address from last year. This is for registering players to the mens/boys club. Killucan Ladies will be registering their players separately as they are affiliated to a separate organisation.

Membership can also be paid to any of our committee members.

Prices:

Adult Player  €60

Juvenile Player U7 - U17 €30

Family Membership  €60

Social (Non-playing) Membership  €30

Killucan GAA/LGFA Nursery

We had two 'firsts' down at Killucan GAA last Saturday morning. We had our first group to use our new astro turf pitch and what better group to set the ball rolling than our new group of 3 and 4 year old boys and girls, in the first Killucan GAA/LGFA Nursery session. We had 39 kids along with a few well known big kids joining in. Great fun was had by all and no doubt the numbers will continue to grow weekly. Well done to Graham O'Connor, the driving force behind the nursery, and our Covid Officers Siobhan Bray and Tara O'Connor.

Community Mental Health Campaign

Our Killucan GAA, LGFA, Raharney Hurling & Camogie Clubs, are joining forces to bring together a Community Mental Health Campaign.

The first aim of our Mental Health Campaign is to create visual awareness within our communities in Rathwire, Killucan and Raharney.

Our local primary schools in Edmonton, Raharney and Rathwire have been creating posters with positive messages about Mental Health. Check out any of our social media platforms to have a look at their creative pieces of art.

Our Mental Health Working Group has been busy deciding on a slogan. “I have your back” is our message.

If you are interested in getting involved or helping out in any way, please contact Alan Core on 087 271 8640.
