There was no winner of this week’s club lotto which continues each week with the numbers draw taking place on Wednesday each week at 9.00 pm. The jackpot for this week is €1,800

Healthy Club Intergenerational Project
Our Healthy Club officer Joan linked up with Mullingar’s active retirement club 1428 this week and with transition year students from St Mary’s CBS and continued with their window box planting project. The grant for this wonderful initiative was awarded by the Environment Department of Westmeath County Council. This was the first social setting for many of the club1428 members since Covid started so it was a special occasion in Springfield.

The weather Gods were kind on Saturday morning and the wind and rain cleared in good time to allow the coaching sessions proceed as planned. It was another great Na SeamrÓigí morning as over 130 young people once again arrived for the fun filled experience delivered by this initiative, unquestionably one of the best ever associated with the club. If any parent/guardian would like to give it or any other age group a try just present in Springfield on Saturday morning at 10.00 am and we’ll take it from there.
