Coaching and Games

Despite the lay-off from training and games it is a busy time for all Southern Gaels coaches. There are a series of Webinars on coaching and skills that our mentors are tuning into regularly. Therefore, they will all be ready to go when the Covid 19 restrictions are lifted. 

 

Training

Hopefully all players are continuing to do their own training and skills development at home within the government guidelines and will be ready for the return to play later in the year.

 

Westmeath GAA Movathon

A reminder to all our players, mentors and supporters to support the Westmeath GAA Movathon. This is a fundraising venture calling on all Westmeath people at home and abroad to help raise funds for the support of our county teams and the redevelopment of Cusack Park. Half of the money raised will go to the redevelopment of Cusack Park and half to support the camogie, ladies' football, hurling and football county teams. So for your well-being take exercise by swimming, running, walking or cycling and then go to the Westmeath GAA site and follow the link to their Go Fund Me Page where you will be able to donate to this worthy venture. The project runs through March to Monday 5th April.
