Underage update:

Sunday 27th September was an extremely busy day for our young boys and girls.

First of all our u5 and u7 players had their final training session of the season at the pitch. Huge credit goes to their dedicated and patient coaches who have helped our youngest members to enjoy themselves and develop their football skills during this unusual season. A massive thank to all the parents who bring their children every week and who have followed all the Covid guidelines. Most of all well done to the children who always play with such enthusiasm and remind us all of the importance of sport in our lives.

Our u9 players also had a training session on Sunday morning as they prepare for their final Go Games match of the season which will take place against Rosemount in the coming days.

Finally our U11 players were joined by their counterparts from Rosemount and also some of the younger members of our U13 panel as they took part in challenge matches in Clann na Gael. The perfect conditions allowed the players on both sides to produce some excellent football. Many thanks to our friends in Clann na Gael for the invitation to play and for their hospitality on the day.

Castledaly Playground remains CLOSED to public for maintenance etc but we hope to have an update on that soon.

The Walking Track is open and busy  with club members taking advantage of the upgraded facility, from early sun rise to late sunset, following the guidance  of the signs regarding entrance / exit, counter clockwise direction to follow, social distancing and respectful behaviour.

Our condolences to the family and friends of everyone who lost loved ones in recent weeks.    We especially remember the family and friends of Seamus McLoughlin, Lake Road, Moate.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Fanacht sábháilte agus go raibh mìle  maith agaibh.

Congratulations to 2020 Intermediate Champions Moate GAA and senior Champions St Lomans who both won their county finals last week.

Congratulations also to young children who celebrated First Holy Communion last weekend, and everyone celebrating in Castledaly next weekend.
