Sympathy: Dromard GAA extends its sympathy to Pauleen and the McEntee family, Drumhaldry, on the passing of Pauleen's mother, Elizabeth (Lizzie) Brady, Drumcoghill, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam.

Monthly Members Draw: Congratulations to the winners of our Special Members Draw for February which took place on St. Patrick’s Day. The €500 prize went to Senator Micheál Carrigy, Ballinalee. The three €100 prizes were won by Roy Whykes, Red Cow Farm; Lizzy O’Reilly, Firmullagh; and Enda Conefrey, Cammagh and Rathfarnham. Thank you to all our members for your continued support. Thanks to Club Treasurer Dermot Reilly and his wife Nicola and their family for carrying out the draw in their home and for streaming it online. Community St. Patrick's Day Video:  Thank you to all the local musicians and those involved in the production of the wonderful video for St. Patrick’s Day. The video was a tremendous success and has been shared and viewed far and wide. It provided a brilliant lift to everybody on St Patrick’s Day to see the outstanding musical talent we have in our community.  Thanks to the following who participated in the video: Club Chairman Gerry Sheridan, Margaret Dunne, Enda and Conor Kiernan, Niamh Corrigan, Noel and Meadhbh Carberry, Cillian Hourican and his group the Rhapsodies, Elena O’Reilly, Shane and Orla Walsh, Naoise and Fionn Hourican, Enda, Maria and Gráinne McKenna and family and Emily Reilly. A special word of thanks to Oisin Hourican who put the video together and to Paul Hourican and family for their continued promotion of cultural activities in the Dromard Club and community.

Pitches and Walking Track at Páirc na nGael: The Club would like to remind everyone that both playing pitches at Páirc na nGael are closed in accordance with GAA and COVID-19 regulations and are not to be used in any circumstances. In addition, all children aged under 16 need to be supervised by an adult while using the walking track. Parents and children and all those using our facilities are asked to please cooperate with these rules in the interests of health and safety.

Newly Weds: Congratulations to Edwin Brady, Dromard and his wife Breda who got married recently. Edwin is a great Dromard GAA supporter and was a member of the management team for our senior footballers on several occasions. Dromard GAA wishes the new couple health and happiness in the years ahead.

Mass for the Sick: Fr. Pat will celebrate a special Mass for the sick from St. Francis Xavier Church, Moyne on Wednesday evening (24 March) at 7pm. The Mass can be viewed live from the website churchtv.ie/moyne

Masses: In line with the HSE guidelines, Masses have reverted to online services only until further notice. A reminder that Masses can be viewed live from St. Francis Xavier Church on Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 7pm and from St. Mary’s Church Legga on Friday evenings at 7pm and Sundays at 11am. The website address to view the Mass from Moyne church is churchtv.ie/moyne and for Legga the address is churchtv.ie/legga Fr Pat would like to remind you that anniversary Masses can be booked for Saturdays and Sundays. The weekly Church Newsletter can be collected from Corrigans, Gortermone Stores or Moyne Stores and from both churches, which remain open during the day for private prayer. Trocaire boxes are available for collection from both churches. This year Trocaire’s Lenten Campaign aims to help families affected by hardship and suffering in South Sudan.

Breffni Arms Open for takeaways: The Breffni Arms is open for its top quality takeaways starting on Wednesday last. Best of luck to Eamonn and Philomena and staff who are great supporters of Dromard GAA.
