The Mens and Ladies club hosted their annual table quiz last Friday. Thanks to everyone who came and supported the first fundraiser of the year. It was a very successful evening and a great night was had by all.

A reminder that if you haven't got your ticket for our annual Dinner & Dance. They are selling out fast and their are only a few left. So if you haven't already got yours now is the time. Tickets are £35 and can be purchased from committee members.

Upcoming Events:

·    Dinner & Dance -  The 2016 Dinner Dance will take place on Saturday 5th March 2016 in the Prince Regent Hotel, Chigwell (IG8 8AE).

·    Thomas McCurtains football, hurling and ladies football teams are travelling to Cork on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of April to play Passage West GAA Club in challenge matches.

·    The Clubs Annual Golf Fundraiser - This will be held on Saturday 2nd July 2016. Last years was a great success and we hope to make this one even better. More details will be released later.

·    The Clubs Annual Funday - Will be held on Saturday 16th July 2016.

Mens Football:

Training will start on Tuesday 1st and Thursday 3rd March 2016 at 7:30 pm in Goodmayes pitch (Post code: IG3 8FE). All new players are welcome. Please contact Martin Keyes (07712 106 349) for further details.

Ladies Football:

Congratulations to ladies players Catherine Barrett and Kellie Carr who made their London county team debut on Saturday. Playing wingback and corner forward respectively the girls played a huge part in Londons victory over Glo-Herts in round 2 of the All-Britain league.

Ladies training will take place this week on Tuesdays & Thursdays in Goodmayes pitch (Post code: IG3 8FE) at 7pm. All new players are welcome. Please contact Finnian O'Dowd (07966 806 011) for further details.

Camogie:

The girls travel to Birmingham this Saturday March 5th to compete in the British Camogie 9-a-side. Good luck to all involved.

New Players:

New players are always very welcome to join our friendly club. We have Gaelic Football & Hurling teams for both men and ladies from u-8s up to Adults. We are based in East London; the club covers a wide area and current players live in many different areas, including, Gants Hill, Woodford, Leyton, Leytonstone, Stratford, Romford, Dagenham, Brentwood & Chelmsford as well as many other areas. Transport to and from training and pick-up from stations can be arranged, if required.
