Ethan Jordan has stressed the need for Tyrone to regain winning ways ahead of next month’s Ulster SFC quarter-final against Armagh.
The Eglish sharpshooter has been one of the few bright spots of a disappointing Allianz Football League Division 2 campaign where the Red Hands’ only points have come against the three bottom teams of Offaly, Cavan and Kildare. Indeed, they are not mathematically safe from relegation ahead of the visit of promotion-chasing Cork to Omagh this Sunday.
“We’ve not winning enough matches at the minute,” Jordan told Belfast Live after last weekend’s defeat to Meath in Croke Park.
“But we showed good character in that second half and I suppose that's something we can really take away. We can't give teams that space during the arc, especially with the quality the teams have at the minute.
“Going into the summer, you want to be building wins and we haven't had enough of them so far. That's something we have to look at.
"We have to start winning games whether it's pretty or ugly. It's going to be a big one next weekend for us.”
