Maith sibh to our Reserves who beat the Moy in the Championship on Sat 19th Sept past 3-08 to 1-08. The Barrys led at 1-05 to 1-02 at the small whistle with points from Oisin Gordon and Shane Crewe and Liam Cushnahan causing the Moy all sorts of trouble racking up 1-03. The second half saw Shane Hanna again to the fore with some fantastic saves to deny the Moy whilst at the other end Derrylaughan turned the screw with goals from Owen Cushnahan and Shea Coney and a point from Seamus Mc Cann and two more great points from Liam Cushnahan. Scorers: Liam Cushnahan 1-05, Shea Coney 1-00, Owen Cushnahan 1-00, Oisin Gordan 0-01, Shane Crewe 0-01 and Seamus Mc Cann 0-01. The Quarter-final of the Championship has been confirmed as V neighbours Clonoe O’Rahilly’s at 2pm on Sat 03rd Oct in O’Rahilly Park. The next League game is Senior only V Donaghmore away at Dungannon Eoghan Ruadh Hurling Club on Thurs 24th Sept at 7.30pm.

The U14s played superbly in the League Grade 4 Knockout Final V Eskra Emmet’s last Mon 21st Sept in Eglish kicking a massive 6-10 to Eskra’s 4-16 bringing the game to a replay, now confirmed for Sat 26th Sept in Aghaloo at 11am. Scorers: Barry Mc Erlean 3-01, Adam Cushnahan 2-03, Andre Devlin 1-04 and Caoimhin Hughes 0-02. The Senior Camogs were beaten by Dungannon in the League 1-06 to 1-03 on Wed 16th Sept past. Ádh mór to our Seniors in the Championship Final V Eglish in Eglish on Sun 27th Sept at 10.30am. All support welcome.  The Minors game V Edendork was not finished. Trainings for Minors and Seniors as per WhatsApp group. The U6/U8/U10 Young Camogs had a great evenings Camogie with visiting neighbours Brocagh on Tues 21st Sept past, thanks to all organisers and coaches. Please note that in order to be covered by club Insurance all players must have paid their membership before training/playing.

The Washingbay Green Run 2020 fundraiser has now moved to the 31st Oct with online registrations remaining valid for the revised date. The Black Tie 75th Anniversary Gala Dinner that was due to be held on October 31st 2020 in Armagh City hotel in conjunction with our Grand Fundraising Draw for £20,000 in prize money have been postponed until October 23rd 2021. Lotto numbers drawn 20th September 2020 - 4, 15, 24 and 28. No one matched 3 or 4 numbers so a draw was made. Number 113 was drawn and that was Elaine Gordon who wins £50.
