A Tipperary GAA club has been left shocked and saddened by the death of a former player in an accident in Australia.
Golden/Kilfeacle GAA has extended its sympathy to the family of Kevin Ivers, who ran Golden Plant Hire in Perth, Western Australia. Mr Ivers is survived by his fiancée Rhyllie, sons Sonny and Banjo, parents Richie and Ann, brothers Paddy and David, and sisters Donna and Aoife.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to “help the family travel to Australia and support the family during this very difficult time”.
“Kevin was a former player in our GAA club where he participated at all levels before moving to Perth. Gone from this world way too soon. Rest in peace Kevin,” Golden/Kilfeacle said in a social media post.
