Tipperary boss Liam Cahill says they will be working hard to get their key players back ahead of their All-Ireland SHC preliminary quarter-final against Offaly on June 17th.

The Premier men exited the Munster championship last Sunday after a disappointing defeat to Waterford in Thurles where the absences of players like Jason Forde, Jake Morris and Cathal Barrett were notable for the hosts.

With Barry Heffernan and Craig Morgan also sidelined, Cahill told TippFM Sport afterwards said that he’s hopeful Tipp’s injuries can clear up for the most part ahead of the showdown with the Joe McDonagh Cup runners-up.

“I don’t think Barry is near what we could say realistically coming back but Craig is making great progress and an extra week won’t do him any harm whatsoever," he said.

“We will need to get every one of them back from here on in, we will need a full hand to play with and we will be working really hard to get that sorted out.”
