The referees for this weekend’s All-Ireland senior hurling championship semi-finals at Croke Park have been confirmed.

Wicklow's John Keenan will take charge of Saturday’s clash between holders Limerick and Waterford, which is a repeat of last December’s decider, with throw-in scheduled for 5pm at headquarters.

The other semi-final between Kilkenny and Cork takes place the following afternoon and Tipperary’s Fergal Horgan will be the man to throw-in the sliotar at 3.30pm.

Up to 24,000 fans will be permitted to attend the games in the capital.

Meanwhile, Cork official David Murnane is set to be the man in the middle for Saturday evening’s All-Ireland U20 football championship semi-final between Down and Roscommon at Kingspan Breffni (throw-in 7pm).
