Tipperary are on the lookout for a new senior hurling manager after Colm Bonnar was relieved from his duties last night.
Tipperary county board confirmed the news this morning and it sees Bonnar sacked after just 10 months in charge of the Premier men, following a review of the county's disappointing 2022 campaign.
The former Carlow boss had been originally handed a three-year term last September, after which Tipp endured a mixed National League campaign prior to exiting the Munster championship off the back of a 3-30 to 1-24 defeat to Cork.
“Following a very comprehensive review the management committee have made the decision to relieve Colm Bonnar from his duties as Tipperary senior hurling manager,” a statement from Tipperary GAA read.
“Tipperary GAA wish to thank Colm for his contribution during his time as senior hurling manager and wish him well in to the future.
“Tipperary GAA will be making no further comment in relation to this decision.”
