Tipperary goalkeeper Brian Hogan has been involved in a Hawkeye controversy for the second game in-a-row.
Just as he had done in the dramatic semi-final win over Wexford, the 6'5" custodian caught the sliotar from John Donnelly's shot a few feet behind his crossbar. Hawkeye was called to intervene and the point was duly awarded to give Kilkenny a 0-7 to 0-3 lead after 19 minutes.
