Sligo manager Declan Loughnane admits that knowing they could have beaten Fermanagh in the Lory Meagher Cup final hurts the most.
Twelve-man Fermanagh took the spoils, but Sligo were the better side for the majority of the opening half.
And Loughnane felt that the three Fermanagh goals were the killer in a game that towed and swayed a number of different ways during the match.
"It was a game that we could have won and that is the killing part," said Loughnane. "We were completely dominant in the first 20 minutes and the hurling was outstanding.
"However, their three goals put an end to that although we did come back into it particularly around their sending off, the other two came too late and didn't really matter."
