Roscommon SFC: Pearses and Clann to collide in semi-final

Padraig Pearses and Clann na nGael, the last two title winners, will meet in the semi-finals of the Roscommon SFC.

Reigning champions Pearses sent out a statement of intent in Ballyforan on Sunday, handing last year's finalists Roscommon Gaels a 0-19 to 0-9 defeat.

At Dr Hyde Park yesterday, Liam Kearns' Clann na nGael showed great resolve to come from behind in the second-half to beat Western Gaels 0-14 to 1-9.

Meanwhile, St Brigid's made their return to the last four stage following a clear-cut 0-19 to 1-8 win over Michael Glavey's in the second game in Ballyforan. The former All-Ireland champions will face Boyle who stuck four goals past St Croan's on Saturday, 4-8 to 0-12.
