Gay Sheerin and Walter Burke will serve as selectors under new Roscommon football manager John Evans.

The pair were appointed at last night's county board meeting with a third selector to be appointed at a later date.

St. Ronan's clubman Sheerin kept goal for the Rossies for many years before serving a stint as manager in the late 1990s. Burke managed his native St. Faithleach's of Ballyleague to Roscommon SFC final appearances in 2005 and 2006 before achieving a similar feat with St. Loman's in Westmeath in 2009. Tweet
