Platinum Tanks R.F.C Crawley Cup Group 1

Doohamlet 3-09   Corduff 2-18

Our reserve team had their first outing of the season on Sunday last away to Corduff.  This turned out a disappointing result for our first game.  No doubt the team can improve as they showed glimpses of what can be achieved in upcoming games.

Team:  Caolán Sullivan, Ryan Ingram, Owen Markey, John Duffy(0-1) Jack Treanor, Darren Connolly, Jack Mc Elroy, Emmett Mc Manus(1-0) Sean Markey(0-2) Ryan Mc Manus, Michael Marray, Daniel Connolly(0-1) Cillian Walshe, Niall J Connolly(2-0) Oisin O Neill(0-5).  Subs used Gaby Casey, Greg Duffy, Nathan Connolly, Bryan Mc Kenna.  Doohamlet G.F.C wishes Team Manager Greg Duffy and Trainer Damien Ward every success in their upcoming games.

Doohamlet G.F.C wishes Michael Marray and Eoin Markey a speedy recovery.

There are no fixtures for next week.

U-13s:  Our U-13s had a great win in the shield final on Saturday morning last when they took on Eire Óg in Killeeven.  The first half was tight with each team trading scores and at half time Doohamlet went in a goal down.  The second half saw a stronger team emerge and they took control of the game.  Our goal-keeper Ben took off some fine saves and our back line kept a good defensive line. Our midfielders and forwards played well together resulting in some great scores. All our players put in a huge effort and resulted in a great win for our boys. Congratulations to all involved and to mentors Gary O Neill and Damien Ward. Team: Philip Ryan, Danny Mc Manus, Padraig Duffy, Ryan Ward, Charlie Mc Manus, Daniel Coleman, Fionan Markey, Shay Mc Manus, Shane Mc Mahon, Vinnie Mc Manus, Ravio Zeps, Ben Mc Garrell, Cian Mc Kenna, Tim Byrne, Dean Coleman, and Cathal Mc Kenna who due to illness was unable to play.

Sympathy:  Doohamlet GFC wish to convey our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of the late Anita Mc Elroy who passed away recently.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Doohamlet G.F.C wishes our neighbours Cremartin the best of luck in the Intermediate Final at the weekend.
