
Dee Rangers were crowned Ladies are All Ireland 7s Intermediate Shield Champions at St. Sylvester’s Malahide today.

Dee Rangers 7-05 Moy (Tyrone) 1-04.
Dee Rangers 3-08 Naomh Seamus (Antrim) 2-08.
Dee Rangers 2-08 Saint Patrick’s (Louth) 3-06.
The above results left Dee Rangers joint top of the table with Naomh Seamus and a free kick competition took place to see which team progressed to the cup/shield semi-final.
Dee Rangers were defeated in sudden death by a single point. This pushed Dee Rangers into the shield semi-final.
Their semi-final opponent were Clonloe O’ Rahillys (Tyrone). Dee Rangers came out on top with a score line of 2-10 to 3-04.
The final was a Royal Battle with Dee Rangers taking on another Meath team, in the shape of Walterstown.

Captain Orlaith Sheehy picked up the All Ireland 7s Intermediate Shield cup.
