Moylagh 1-14, Kilmainhamwood 2-7
Moylagh recorded their 4th win in the division 3A league with a hard fought win away to Kilmainhamwood on Tuesday evening.
After a cagey opening few minutes, Moylagh notched 1-4 without reply with Tommy O’Reilly goaling. To their credit Kilmainhamwood fought their way back into the match and brought the game back to within a point before Moylagh tagged on a couple of scores before half time, the pick of which was a long range Mark Gibney effort, to leave the score at 1-7 to 1-3 at the break.
Kilmainhamwood started the second half much the brighter and brought the game back to a draw with a well taken goal.
Moylagh managed to steady the ship as the half wore on with points from Rory Gibney, Darren Gibney, Sean Reilly and Tommy O’Reilly leaving the full time score at Moylagh 1-14, Kilmainhamwood 2-7.
