The 2022 Meath Regional football championship has been a huge success as many new players have emerged into the spotlight to get their chance to show what they can do. The first two rounds have already been played as it stands that Lough Crew and Tara have already qualified for the semifinals. 

It is still all to play for the qualification spot in the round three fixtures between An Tuaisceart and Brú na Boinne and Moyfenragh against Boyne Valley.  

After two rounds, An Tuaisceart’s Sean Meade leads the way in the scoring charts with 1:9. An Tuaisceart will be hoping that Meade can recover from his injury that he picked up in the loss against Lough Crew in round two. Despite the injury, Meade still contributed five points against the North Meath combination.
