Moylagh 4-8 Longwood 6-6

Moylagh and Longwood play out a ten goal triller in Moylagh on Saturday evening in the B premier Championship.

Raymond Kenny had Moylagh four point up after 5 minutes, with a goal and a point.

Longwood hit back to take a three point lead before John Francis found the net to leave the teams all squared. A fine Enda Mullvanly free gave Moylagh back the lead but from here Longwood went on a scoring spree to take a commanding 5-6 to 2-4 lead at the break.

Moylagh’s came out for the second half and to their credit put in a super display with Willie McGrath leading the charge and well assisted by Ciaran Hannon, Aaron Hand, Kevin Foley, Barry McGuirk, Raymond Kenny, Karl Clinton and the hard working John Francis.

Goals from Hannon and McGrath and points from Kenny and Francis had Longwoods lead down to four points before time ran out.
