Meath and St. Pats star Peter Sullivan

For the second time in three years the All Ireland Minor Football Championship title returned to the Royal County in 1992.

It was a year Peter Sullivan will never forget. Not alone did the outstanding St. Pats attacker captain Meath to that success but also finished top scorer.

In the opening round win over Laois, Sullivan scored 1-7. The corner forward hit 2-5 in the Leinster semi final replay win over Wexford and his 2-3 against Cork in the semi final proved crucial as Christy Moore’s charges advanced to the final.

The Meath captain scored an impressive 6-25 over the seven game campaign. 1-7 v Laois, 0-4 v Louth, 1-3 v Wexford, 2-5 v Wexford, 0-2 v Westmeath, 2-3 v Cork and 0-1 v Armagh
