Meath Minor Hurlers

(Oldest Posts First)

First championship game of the year , best of luck to the hurlers , expected to be a close game . Throw in 2pm Saturday in Boardsmill.
This is no disrespect to Boardsmill but surely for a Leinster championship match Trim or PT are the only grounds to play a game of this importance ?

Best of luck as well lads. But obviously, to some, it doesn't appear to be a game of importance. Excuse the pun 'a minor affair' sad really. Another fixture out of the way, another box ticked and somebody is a great fellow.

All I can say is wow !!
What a game by these lads. 7 points down with a few minutes to go , then to go on and win by a point in added time. One of the best games I've seen in a long time and specially at that age group . What a turnaround after carlow beating them by around 15 points in the Leinster championship only a couple of weeks back.
Players and management should be very proud !!
