How is it a nonsense comment Is he a Trim man was he born and raised all his life in Trim. Yes or no. If so then why is he treated different than any other referee in Meath by being allowed to referee his home club . No other referee is allowed this privilege.

I believe he is born and reared in trim, although never having any affiliation to the trim club. He made his name as a drumconrath referee and I'm sure he will hold no bias Saturday afternoon in what will be one of his biggest games to date.

Ref made no difference today whatsoever.... He could have played for Oldcastle as a 16th player, and Trim would still have hammered them.

I heard Aaron Lynch played well yet again - surely a run out with Meath Senior team is on the way...

Trim 1-15 outstanding, personally thought their keeper was fantastic, 3 1v1 saves and superb kick outs.
Trim will hold their own in the senior ranks with Reilly at the helm

He's the most marked man in the intermediate grade at the moment, he scored 2/3 points today from play and set up multiple scores would not call his display average. Also his free taking abilities are second to none

Oldcastle line was very poor. Very indecisive but that's the way it goes. Trim will make a good fist of senior,

He is an excellent player and worthy of a Meath call up, but to say his free taking is second to none is definitely overrating it. I know conditions weren't ideal but he was about 2/6 on them in the final. And in the semi final he missed 2 or 3 scoreable ones too I remember. Like I said not a reason to not give him a crack with Meath because he definitely deserves it

Very average today eh.????

He top scored with 1-05

If that is only a very average outing for Aaron Lynch - then he should be a definite starter for Meath... ;o)

Trim were far superior team but made a lot of poor decisions up front in first half, Oldcastle had one player who stood out, Hawdon who was 13 but played as sweeper even when they had gale force wind behind them. Given how poor Oldcastle were and Lynchs form all year i thought his display in that context was average to say the least. Not too sure that Trim will make an impression at Senior but that is for another day

Well done Trim, bar far the most superior team in intermediate but pressure was on in 3rd final in a row.

Will have no problem competing in the senior ranks but the Keegan cup is still a lot of work away.

Again the analyst tag appears to give you the right to contradict peoples opinions . I wonder why that is so .? Lynch top scored with 1-5 , 3 scores from placed balls . 1-2 essentially from play . he's the go to man for Trim on most occasions . And has been producing it since minor level . Credit where credit is due .

If Lynch was poor in the Intermediate final , and " I am paraphrasing you "what about the others on display at the weekend , Scully , Hawdon etc.
Go to the Senior game , Jones , Lenehan , McEntee ( s) .McCoy etc.
I spotted the Meath Senior captain fail to kick a scoable point over the bar with his right foot .... County Standard ..DMML . David McEntee removed from Play also . My earlier pulling not pulling up trees at Club level stands ... These are guys that have or are on the Meath Snr panel .....

The relegation play off between NoM and Dushaughlin was also a pitiful match ... Niall McKeigue showed all the young turks how its done ....

If Lynch is putting it together day in and day out at Club level he deserves the chance .... Looks who has gotten it already ....
