Championship 2020 Availability

Just wondering if anyone has any news on the Senior team's fitness, is anyone still likely to be out due to long term injury come August? I know that Newman, Kane, Lavin and Leinehan were due to be back around now. Is there a possibilty that we could have a full hand to pick from?!

Would like to think so but I would fear for players welfare come October. If they are training as vigorously as reports I really can't see them coming through club championship unscathed unfortunately

Surely the fact that they have been training would make them less likely to pick up injuries in club championship. I'd be more worried for the club player getting injured where the intensity of training/games is being ramped up very quickly

I'd be worried about the training the players are doing at the minute, I don't for a minute believe that they are training lightly to be ready for club championship. If they are training intensely to peak for October I would be worried that a club championship in the middle of this may be too much.

are you for real ? if we want to be anyway readu to beat kildare and not get another hiding off dublin the best thing any player on the intercounty team needs is a good hard championship battle and get afew rattles, i would hope to God that Andy Mc does have lads rattling into ech other in training games and not going easy on each other. the week before a championship game is the only time to take it handy and hae lads string on the leash for the sunday. the best thing meath footballers could get is a hard , blood and thunder club championship.

Yeah good man let's neglect the players and the club's by letting lads rattle into each other three nights a week on top of a club championship for a game that is four months away??
