Like a lot of things in life gaa is cyclical, the teams being selected are from a different era of the great success that was 86 to 99. There are some fine footballers in a lot of counties who might never win big, thats life. Don't make little of players who have achieved a lot more than most

Think we could all agree the 6 Forwards were the best for the last decade , you can switch some of the positions but these are the best we had , All had a bit of class about them

Backs were a bit more difficult

Menton could easily go into Midfield either
All HB are great for driving forwards and can win breaking ball either
FB line - 2 of the two best man markers in the county and Reilly was a colossus"
