Podger Geoghegan was denied a goal as was Murray twice by good goalkeeping from Kilmessan but a shot after a run by Arron Potterton ended up in the net to give Kildalkey a 4 point lead but with so much at stake Kilmessan responded again to cut the lead to 2 after 2 Conor Gorman frees.
