Moynalty and Duleek Bellewstown played out a thrilling draw following a dramatic second-half comeback.

Tommy Owens produced a great save early on before John Brogan opened Moynalty’s account with a well-taken point. Duleek Bellewstown responded strongly, registering two points and a two-pointer to move ahead. Moynalty added another score before Kian Lynch found the net with a brilliant goal. Duleek Bellewstown replied with a point, but Lynch quickly added another for Moynalty, making amends after an earlier missed opportunity.

Two Duleek Bellewstown goals, followed by two further points, gave the visitors a commanding lead approaching the interval. Daire Conlan replaced Charles Brogan, while Matthew McKenna came on for Conor Grey.

Caoimhín Cussen replaced Kyle Cussen for the second half, as Moynalty set about reducing the deficit. Nicholas McKenna opened the second-half scoring for Moynalty, although Duleek Bellewstown answered with two points of their own.

A vital two-pointer kept Moynalty in contention before Caoimhín Cussen struck a crucial goal. Nicholas McKenna then converted from a 45 to leave the game finely balanced. With just three minutes remaining, John Brogan found the net to put Moynalty one point ahead and complete a remarkable comeback. Kevin Farrelly replaced Daire Conlan, while Jack McEntee came on for Caoimhín Cussen during a tense finale.

Duleek Bellewstown managed to draw level before the final whistle, leaving the sides to share the spoils after a hugely entertaining contest.
