JHC semi final: Kildalkey ease into county final

Kildalkey junior hurlers qualified for the county final after a good win over Drumree in Drumree in the semi final on Sunday morning.

The blues led by 1-10 to 0-5 at halftime after good work all over the field with every player doing their job and performing on the day.

The goal coming from Noel Kirby and some excellent points from Podger Geoghegan, Kirby, Stevie Murray, Dan Quinn, Lee Coldrick and Derek Doran.

Kildalkey dominated the second half against an underperforming Drumree and tagged on another 1-13  the goal coming from Murray and a flurry of points from Doran, Kirby, Arron Byas and a boomer from Paddy Casey from his own half back line and substitute Cathal Egan had the last say to win out on a score line of 2-23 to 0-6.

18 players togged out on Sunday and everyone of them played their part in getting their club to county final day. 

St Pats await them in the final after winning their semi final against Ratoath on Friday night
