A two points lead for the Tones at half time was whittled back to see the teams all square on 10 points each early in the second half. A goal from Conor Sheppard was the significant score on the 40th minute and Tones gradually built on the lead to secure the points. A bone hard pitch in dry conditions made for a fast skillful game with much for the spectators to admire. Curley with his long range accuracy added to Barretts accuracy from the acutest of angles kept the scoreboard ticking. Moran added punch and pace to the attack and set up many scores. At the back Donegan and Sheppard were imperious with O Brien in the full back line steady throughout. Ciaran O Hare and Joey Curtis were prominent late in the game and won important possession to keep a lively Kiltale attack at bay. The result sees Tones with three points after two games following their earlier draw vs Boardsmill
