Kilmessan 2-09 Drumree 3-07

Kilmessan’s 3rd string lost out to Drumree in the opening round of the Junior Hurling Championship played in Kilmessan.

At halftime the sides are level, Kilmessan 0-05 Drumree 1-02. Despite second half goals from Kevin O’Reilly and Scott Bagnall, Kilmessan conceded a late goal and Drumree went on to win by the minimum.
