St Brigids 2-14 Ratoath 1-17

St Brigids hosted Ratoath on Sunday morning in the last round of the League knowing that a placing the semi-final awaited. As it turned out we play Ratoath again in the semi-final after they held us to a draw and it was enough to see them hold on to third place behind ourselves. A strong breeze in the first period saw the visitors kick five two point efforts which helped them to a two point lead at the break 0-13 to our 1-08.

The second half saw the wind advantage lessen for ourselves but a goal in injury time from Michael Flood seemed to have won us the points but Ratoath worked the ball straight back up the field from the kickout to grab a goal of their own with the last kick if the game to earn a share of the spoils.
