A pair of points from Paddy Carpenter and Sean Smyth meant Skryne looked to be heading for half time with a six point lead, however there was still time for the game’s second goal when Moynalvey’s Paul Corcoran scrambled the ball to the Skryne net, leaving three between the sides when referee Patrick Clarke blew his half time whistle, 1-7 to 1-4.
