Half time: Kilmainhamwood 1-8 Navan O Mahony's 0-8
The Wood continued to keep the pressure on the scoreboard this was largely thanks to the huge efforts of the back 6 turning over plenty of O Mahonys attacks and large portions of breaking ball collected by Noah Madden around the middle. Scores from the second half came courtesy of Shane Townley, Callum Crosbie, Eoin Finnegan and Paul Carolan. Mahoneys had collected a few scores of their own to keep them in it but the Woods lead was extended when the ball was worked down the wing by some fluent running and passing by Brian Cassidy and Eoin Finneganthe ball ended up in the hands of Eoghan O Donnell who slotted the ball into the back of the net to give the Wood some breathing space. Shane Townley added a brace of 2 pointers to secure victory for the men from North Meath.
