HL Div 2: Goals crucial to Kildalkey's second win

Kildalkey 2-11 Trim 0-15

On another windy night in Trim on Friday night Kildalkey faced off against Trim for the second night in a row this time in Division 2 with both clubs second teams battling it out for the 2 points and it was Kildalkey who got their second win in a tough Division but only after a stern test from the Trim men.

Trim played with the strong wind in the first half and were scoring from all angles racing into an early lead but thanks to 2 goals from Adam o brien and Ben Rickard and points from Podger Geoeghan and Kelvin Lynch they only trailed by 5 at the break to keep them in touch 0-12 to 2-2 

While early points from Mattie Cully, David Harmon, Ben Rickard and Conor Barnwell got them back level Trim were hitting back with a score to stop them nudging ahead as Kildalkey hit a number of wides but late frees from Mattie Cully gave his team the lead and he hit the last free to leave 2 in it and the blues took the points and left Trim for the second night with a narrow win
