Mixed fortunes for Kilmessan in the hurling league

There were mixed fortunes for Kilmessan's three adult hurling teams over the weekend in the Meath Hurling League.

Division 1

Na Fianna 2-22 Kilmessan 0-15 in Baconstown

Despite an impressive 0-13 from Conor Horan a depleted Kilmessan fell to a disappointing defeat in Baconstown. The home side led 1-15 to 0-5 at the break.

Division 3

Kilmessan 0-17 St Fechins 2-09 in Kilmessan

This was the first time these two sides met. The home side led at the break 0-7 to 1-2. The visitor scored 1-1 after the break but led by Finn Conroy held on for a two point win.

Blackhall 1-03 Kilmessan  1-12 in Kilcloon

Conor Gorman scored 1-10 as Kilmessan remain in contention for a place in the final.
