
The large crowds that attended the Meath Cumann na mBunscol finals were treated to two brilliant days of hurling and camogie. The strong winds The strong winds failed to take away from the skills levels in all the 11 finals at the outstanding facilities at Lomans Park Trim.
Friday: Again blustery but dry conditions welcomed the large crowds to Loman's Park Trim for Day 2 of the Cumann na mBunscol hurling and camogie finals. Midfielder Antonio Dias Cooper was the star of the show as Rathbeggan claimed the first cup on offer. O’Growney N.S., Athboy bridged a 25 year gap. Boardsmill made up for last years disappointment. A brilliant double Division 1 title day for St. Joseph’s N.S., Kilmessan. Kill and Kiltale brought proceeding to a close with the latter taking home the Division 4 hurling title
Thursday: Day 1 of the Meath Cumann na mBunscol took place today at a wet and blustery Lomans Park Trim. Boyerstown took home the first piece of silverware on offer. Carnaross and St. Seachnall’s N.S., Dunshaughlin created a little piece of history by winning their schools first hurling titles. History also for Whitecross when they claimed their first camogie crown. Baconstown had to withstand a Ratoath fightback to win the Division 1/2 Hurling Shield Final title.
