Dunsany footballer Alexander Smyth and his girlfriend Elisha Stewart are taking on an epic climb up Mount Kilimanjaro to raise €7,500 for the Meningitis Research Foundation.

Alexander was a key part of the Dunsany team that eventually got their hands of the Meath Junior Football Championship title in 2024, beating St. Vincents in the final. The talented defender was named on the Hoganstand Junior Football Team of the Year after that memorable season for the club.

In August, Alexander and Elisha will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise an ambitious €7,500 for the Meningitis Research Foundation. This hike for Meningitis uses our love for the outdoors to make a vital difference.
