On a perfect day for hurling Bhulf Tón maintained their 100 percent record with a win over visitors St Fechins. The goals made the difference in a very competitive game. Tones led by four points at half time 2-7 to St Fechins 0-9. A late goal sealed the deal for the Tones which saw the return of Meath hurler Eoin Donegan.
Prior to the game a minute’s silence was observed in honour of club stalwart Paddy McGrath who recently passed away. Paddy was a committee member for many years and is especially remembered as a great collector of our club lotto. A true gentleman Paddy was delighted to see his son Darren lift the Keegan Cup in 2006. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
