Kildalkey 4-11 Drumree 2-14 

Kildalkey intermediate team picked up their first points in Division 2 of the HL on Thursday night with a narrow win over Drumree.

3 goals from Ben Rickard Conor Kearney and Conor Fitzgerald set them on their way to lead by 3-7 to 1-5 at the break with Matthew Cully Fitzgerald Arron Potterton Rickard Kearney and Kevin Mckeon all registering points with Drumree hitting a lot of wides and that trend continued into the second half.

Kelvin Lynch and 3 Mattie Cully frees kept Kildalkey in the game but Drumree were hitting their scores coming down the home stretch and ultimately a mistake from the Drumree goalie letting in Kevin Mckeons weak enough shot through his legs won the game for Kildalkey. Goals wins games as they say.
