Kilmessan picked up their 3rd win of the Division 1 HL campaign with this three point victory over previously unbeaten Kiltale in sweltering conditions at Kilmessan.
The home side dominated the opening half at the end of which they led 2-19 to 0-6. They had to withstand a goal hungry Kiltale fightback in the second half and despite conceding six majors they held on to win this high scoring encounter and move into contention with one round to play.
