Kiltale 2-17
Kildalkey 3-12
Kiltale locked horns once again with old foes Kildalkey in their 4th round of their Div 1 League clash and the maroons came out with a 2 point victory.
Kiltale lead from the start and had a relatively comfortable lead for much of the early stages with a Peter Durnin goal in the 14th minute giving the home side an early 5 point lead.
Kildalkey worked their way into the game however and the deficit was 3 points at half time.
A Luke Madden point pushed Kiltale ahead early in the second half and when Jack Regan found the net in the fifth minute of the second half the home side were once again in control.
With eight minutes remaining Kiltale lead by nine points thank to excellent points from play from James Kelly, Regan, Hughie O'Sullivan and Adam Murphy however two late goals from the away side put the result in doubt right until the end.
The side in maroon held on though as time ran out for Kildalkey and the home side secured a two point victory to remain top of the division after 4 matches played.
