Navan O’Mahonys kept their good start to the year going in Trim with a hard-fought win over the home side in Round 3 of the Division 4 Camogie League.
On a night when the whole team performed well, Caoimhe McKenna and Lauren Patterson superbly marshalled the Navan back line. Further up the pitch Dayna Keogh was a tireless worker in midfield.
Goals from Claire Mallon, Mia McNally and a brilliant solo effort from Ruth Stewart mid-way through the second half proved decisive. Cara Ratty & Patterson were the other scorers on the night. Next up for the O’Mahonys girls is a difficult assignment against Donaghmore Ashbourne.
