FL Div 4: Brigids on top in Ballinacree

March 23, 2026

St. Brigid's Cormac Browne

St Brigids 1-16
St Colmcilles 0-09

St Brigids welcomed St Colmcilles to Ballinacree on Sunday morning for Round two of the League.

Colmcilles got of the mark first with a point followed by a second before a Cormac Browne free got us up and running with a pointed free followed by a Dylan Scully point from play. Colmcilles pointed again but three two pointers from play from Cormac Browne put some daylight between us on the board. Colmcilles responded with a minor but we kicked on to halftime with four points unanswered to leave us with a healthy lead 0-12 to 0-04.

St Colmcilles started the second period with real intent and notched four points to no reply by the forty minute mark to leave just the four between us. Cormac next hit a two pointer free followed by a Colmcilles point from play which turned out to be their last score of the day but again we pushed on and hit a goal from Cian Blake and two more minors to see us run out victors on a 1-16 to 0-09 scoreline.
