Moynalty 1-13 Kilmainham 1-10

Moynalty got their league campaign off to a winning start with a strong second-half performance to overcome Kilmainham. The visitors started the better and took control early, scoring 1-04 in the first half while Moynalty struggled to settle, registering four points before the break.

Moynalty improved after half time, with Eanna Bennett finishing off with a goal and a series of points to get back into the game. Kilmainham kept the pressure on, but Moynalty edged ahead in the closing stages. A crucial two-pointer from Eanna Bennett helped push Moynalty in front, and they held on to secure the win.
