
Meath Camogie is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Sheil as the new Meath Intermediate Camogie Manager.
Stephen’s appointment follows a comprehensive recruitment and interview process, after which he was proposed by the Selection Committee and subsequently ratified by the Meath camogie clubs on Wednesday evening.
Stephen brings significant experience at intercounty, college, club and development level. He previously served as Sligo Senior Hurling Manager and, before that, managed both the Senior and Freshers teams in TUS Athlone. He has also worked with Westmeath development squads and has coached extensively across Westmeath, Meath, and Kildare.

Niall Burke – Lead Coach
Current Na Fianna Camogie Manager, guiding the team to four consecutive county titles.
Joe Quinn – Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach
Brings extensive experience from S&C roles with Galway, Offaly, Westmeath, and Sligo intercounty teams.
Karl Corcoran – Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach
Supports the S&C programme with strong applied and practical expertise.
Declan Barnes – Physiotherapist
Highly experienced physio with a background across intercounty and senior club teams.
Ailbhe Ryan – Team Psychologist
Specialises in team cohesion, mindset development, and high-performance mental skills.
Deborah Sherlock – Nutritionist
Sports nutritionist focused on performance-based fuelling strategies.
Seán Conroy – Performance Analyst
Provides data-driven insights and comprehensive performance analysis.
