Moynalty GFC is delighted to announce Micheál McDermott as our new Senior Team Manager for the 2026 season.

Micheál arrives with an exceptional coaching pedigree. He most recently guided Celbridge to back-to-back Senior Football Championship Finals in Kildare, and throughout his career has secured Senior Championship titles with:

Kilmurry Ibrickane (Clare)

Monaleen (Limerick)

Ramor United (Cavan)

Wolfe Tones (Meath) – 2021

Joining Micheál’s backroom team is renowned Strength & Conditioning coach Mike McGurn. Mike has previously worked with Ballinderry, Kilcoo, Crossmaglen, and the IRFU, and currently serves as Head of S&C at Queen’s University Belfast.

We are excited to welcome both Micheál and Mike to Moynalty GFC and look forward to a positive and ambitious season ahead.
